Fairer Futures Partnership (FFP) Tackling Poverty & Additional Support Needs (ASN) Fund

We are pleased to announce the Fairer Futures Partnership Tackling Poverty & Additional Support Needs Fund

The aim of this fund is to support community and voluntary sector (CVS) engagement within North Lanarkshire’s Fairer Futures Partnership, supporting them to provide support to children, young people and families where there are additional support needs and child poverty.

Organisations are able to apply for up to £5,000 to run a project, either within the community or within the Additional Support Needs educational cluster. Projects have to cater for children or young people with additional support needs, and must address child poverty in some way.

Activities should:

  • Have a focus on early intervention and prevention
  • Be flexible and adaptive to the needs of target beneficiaries
  • Support families to implement routines & coping strategies which improves emotional dysregulation

More information, including identified priority needs, can be found within the funding guidance, which is attached to this email or can be found on the Community Solutions website.

Please note that due to the short-term nature of this funding, reporting data is required by the end of March, so activities are expected to start fairly quickly. Due to this, we are able to accept applications which are extensions of current projects, as long as applicants are able to clearly show additionality.

Applications for this fund close on 21st January 2026, 5pm. No applications can be accepted beyond this point. All applications will be discussed by a panel of stakeholders.

A drop in session is running on 8th January 2026, where you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Additionally, please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to discuss your application.
