Making it through Menopause! An innovative therapeutic arts approach to empower women throughout peri/menopause

Description: Therapeutic arts project for women whose mental, physi-cal and emotional health has been adversely impacted by the complex and wide ranging symptoms of peri-menopause and menopause. It will use the benefits of therapeutic arts approaches to empower women to strengthen mental health and wellbeing.

Description: Therapeutic Arts Specialists will deliver a robust programme providing effective therapeutic arts support, strategies and techniques designed to build personal, social and emotional health and resilience

Description: The project will use a range of creative techniques with primary children at key school transitions stage

Description: An arts based programme designed to reduce stress and anxiety, strengthen confidence, build resilience and support positive relationships, engagement and transitions.

Create and Connect: Community ( Phase 4 )

Locality: Airdrie, Bellshill ,Coatbridge, Motherwell, Wishaw & Shotts

Total Funding: £30,000.00

Description: Providing therapeutic arts programme designed to improve mental health & wellbeing and to reduce social isolations and inequalities relating to mental health and illness and cost of living crisis. Therapeutic Arts Specialists will deliver a varied programme including therapeutic visual art, drama, film making, yoga, dance & movement using techniques designed for therapeutic effect.

Clusters: Bellshill, Chryston, OLD Cumbernauld, St Ambrose, St Andrews

Total Funding: £28,070.00

Description: An arts based programme designed to reduce stress and anxiety, strengthen confidence, build resilience and support positive relationships, engagement and transitions.

-Increased multifaceted disadvantages in direct relation to cost of living crisis
