Children, Young People and Families Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund (Phase 6)

Youth & Community Ranger

Clusters:Cardinal Newman, Clyde Valley, Cumbernauld, Dalziel, Greenfaulds, Kilsyth, St Andrews

Total Funding: £55,373.50

Description: Tailored outdoor learning experiences facilitated by a Youth and Community Ranger who will work within the cluster for one day a week. This includes tool use, bushcraft skills, conservation work and nature-based educational workshops. The goal is to improve confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing.

Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund (Phase 4)

Steady Ground

Locality: NL Wide

Total Funding: £16,484.98

Description: This project will provide an outdoor programme to support the mental health and wellbeing of adults who are carers for young people with additional support needs. It will provide carers with an opportunity to meet for peer support, utilising the benefits of nature to support their own wellbeing as well.

Description: Tailored outdoor learning experiences facilitated by a Youth and Community Ranger who will work within the cluster for one day a week. This includes tool use, bushcraft skills, conservation work and nature-based educational workshops. The goal is to improve confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing.  

SOARing Outdoors Group Programme

Cluster: Chryston

Total Funding: £3,714.33

Description: A 12-week outdoor programme to support young people to improve their confidence, resilience and overall wellbeing, while fostering a deeper connection with nature and the community.
