The Local Activity Funding awarded by the Motherwell Consortium enabled the organisation to organise a Pumpkin Fun Festival and the Fun Run for children and adults. The Fun Run was used as the beginning of the creation of the first educational Nordic walking trail in Scotland in Muirhouse and Flemington. For people with reduced mobility, older people and disabled people, they had an instructional Nordic walking walk to ensure the event was accessible for everyone.
