Description: This project will provide a tailored befriending service for vulnerable individuals, including adults with Additional Support Needs (ASN), and older people living within Glenboig and the surrounding areas. This project will offer a daily wellbeing call, weekly befriending calls, a 1:1 at home sit-in befriending service, group befriending, 1:1 community befriending, nursing home befriending and a Community Access Support service.

Glenboig Community Garden - Branching Out Together
Locality: Coatbridge
Total Funding: £16,681.00
Description: Utilising the natural environment to promote and improve the mental health and wellbeing of people with Additional Support Needs and help them to feel more connected and included. They will support around 60 individuals with ASN to engage with nature and the environment and connect with their community, through learning to grow and cook their own food and spending time in their welcoming and inclusive community garden.
