Join our new North Lanarkshire Social Prescribing network!
The next meeting of the network will be Tuesday November 19th 10am-12pm, in person location tbc.
The theme for this meeting is Winter – we are looking for presenters from voluntary organisations offering winter/cold weather/Christmas social prescribing activities and services. If you would like to present about your project, please get in touch.
The network is for frontline practitioners, delivering and supporting social prescribing services, to strengthen the delivery of social prescribing in North Lanarkshire. The aim of the network is to strengthen the ‘supply’ end of social prescribing by increasing capacity of the community and voluntary sector to deliver interventions to meet ‘demand’ from Health and Social Care Partnership providers.
The network will set out to:
- identify the most appropriate resources within communities
- identify gaps in provision
- improve personal outcomes for Lanarkshire residents
- ensure citizens are provided non-clinical support within their communities, to reduce the impact on statutory services
